ELIGIBILITYUSA Softball eligibility is based off of Playing Age. A player's age as of August 31st determines the playing age and division in which the player is eligible to play. A player may play up but may not play down. For example, a player who is 9 as of Aug. 31 must play 10U and cannot play 8U.
